I get to spend Wed-Sat. in Florida for Thanksgiving and the UF vs. FSU game, and for that I am thankful.
I'm thankful for many things. The girls in the office, my department friends, the fact that next semester I finally get to be in charge and teach. I wish it would come sooner but I must use my time wisely.
I have a 3 page paper, an 8 page paper, and a skill analysis project due when I get back...and I should be working on that but I just cannot find the motivation or the words to place in the papers and I just don't feel like analyzing a basketball free throw.
If I can finish that hopefully my grades will be alright and I will at least pass all of my classes.
I firmly believe if I can do that I'm good to go.
It's my goal to put together unit plans for most sports while I am on Christmas break so that I can be prepared for when I start teaching. Hopefully I can use some that department friends have put together and place them with my own. I want to stay ahead and on top of things so that everything is basically planned out.
My plan is to have a binder with the sports unit plans in it, a binder with the typed up innovative games, and possibly a binder with other various activities or games. All of the articles I've gathered from Dr. Farver I plan to keep in a binder as well as have a separate binder for elementary than I do for high school.
I need to start making a wishlist of the equipment I like that I'll probably have to buy because the places I've been for my practicums have next to nothing when it comes to equipment and as much as I like to make things I like having the authentic thing better.
The real world is coming and I can almost smell it and I'm eager for it! So eager it is hard to focus on what still must be done now...
Order my steps Lord as I cannot see into the future but You already know where I'll be [boy am I thankful for that!].
